Position Summary

Overview:

The Democratic National Committee is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Analytics team. The Data Analyst will assist with targeting, reporting, tracking, and other program-specific data needs.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Help set up processes for efficient data collection, tracking, reporting and analysis
  • Work with a cohesive team to execute projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness
  • Design and build reports and tools for teams across the campaign in line with key programmatic priorities

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience applying data and analytics tools in a political, business, or non-profit setting
  • 1+ year using SQL professionally
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and platforms used by other team members
  • A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems

 

Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:

  • A technical skillset that includes familiarity or proficiency in a variety of programming languages/software such as (but not limited to) MS Excel, Google Suite, Python, QGIS, dbt, and R
  • Experience volunteering or working in politics or with the voter file

The salary for this position is $70,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
