Associate Director of Data

Position Summary

This is a critical management position that oversees the largest team within the department–the data team. The data team is a diverse team of eight staff members, half of whom are based in the field and half based in our headquarters in DC.

The team provides vital support for our affiliate unions and AFL-CIO state federations and central labor councils for their election and other campaign work and administers the Labor Action Network (LAN)–the labor movement’s instance of the VAN–our texting platform (based in Spoke), our flier and materials system called the Working Families Toolkit, internal trackers to manage our processes around membership data security, dialer systems and more.

This is an exciting role for someone who has experience managing a team of data practitioners and relationships with vendors, has a deep understanding of LAN or VAN and is excited to build on that experience with one of the best teams in progressive data.
