Position Summary
Applications for Change the Game’s beginner Academy are open through March 19th. This Academy aims to support folx – who might have a background in organizing or field – interested in working in the progressive data space, and teaches both hard data skills (SQL, VAN, etc) and many soft skills needed to be a successful data staffer.
What are the 2021 Change the Game Academies?
Change the Game Academies are bootcamp style online trainings that include:
- Mentorship and small team project based learning;
- A community speaker series to provide networking and community development opportunities;
- Online learning courses; and
- An online communication platform for participants, and the larger progressive data community, to support one another in the important work they are doing.
The Academy will take place online from April 5-23rd from 5:00-9:00 PM EDT. Participants are asked to make a $250 suggested donation to Change the Game to help support costs. However, costs can be waived for those who need it.
