Position Summary
Deputy Data Director
The 2024 New Hampshire Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, is hiring a Deputy Data Director. New Hampshire is a critical state in 2024 on all levels of the ballot – join us to Elect Vice-President Harris, Rep Chris Pappas, take back the governorship and regain state legislative majorities in next year’s elections, as well as build lasting democratic infrastructure.
This position will report to the Coordinated Data Director and is based in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with in-state stakeholders including Organizing, Digital Organizing, and Voter Protection.
- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting voter trends or patterns in order to precisely target voters
- Build scheduled, interactive reports and tools for the New Hampshire Coordinated team in line with key programmatic priorities
- Maintain data standards to ensure data capture and hygiene
- Develop and present VAN/Votebuilder training materials to the Organizing Team in statewide, small group, and one-on-one settings
- Respond to data support requests and flags
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous campaign experience, especially in a data and analytics capacity
- Knowledge of programming languages and software, including but not limited to any of the following: SQL, Python, Looker Studio, Hex, Google Sheets, and R
- Proficiency with Votebuilder/VAN
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and clearly communicate with others
- Good personal organization, including ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Strong ability to communicate priorities and needs orally and in writing
- Desire to ask questions, receive constructive feedback, and grow as a professional
- Commitment to equity and inclusion in working with staff and other stakeholders
- Access to a vehicle and a cell phone
- Capacity and desire to work long hours in a campaign setting
